Windjammer (2009) is a spiritually uplifting composition animated by the unique instrumental colors of the wind quintet, dialogue among the instruments, and rhythmic energy.
The inspiration for the piece springs from two sources: the syncopated, improvisatory aura of jazz, and water imagery suggesting the light and movement of the sea.
